lifestream nourishing beverages ltd facebooklifestream nourishing beverages ltd twitter search who we arewhat we docontact usupcoming eventspast eventsnavigation who we arewe are gord and deanna (and family… elysse, olivia, isaiah and abigail) and together we bring you lifestream nourishing beverages ltd!! every new venture begins with an “aha moment…” a, “what do you think about this kind of idea…?” ours… what we doours is a variation on the food truck service business. the prime difference is that our mission is to provide athletes with nutritious foods in preparation for and recovery from demanding physical activities. we of course also recognize the importance… contact ussporting, corporate, party or other events and celebrations? consider making lifestream - the healthy choice - a part of your next event. we’d love to come and nourish you!!!  just give us a call for pricing and bookings! we strive to make a meaningful difference in the health… upcoming eventscheck back often to see where we are at next! upcoming events! june 2, 3, 4 – 4:30-8:30 pm - world class gymnastics showcase - frid street june 3 – 1:30-2:30 pm – hamilton health sciences – upper ottawa st. june… who we are we are gord and deanna (and family… elysse, olivia, isaiah and abigail) and together we bring you lifestream nourishing beverages ltd!! every new venture begins with an “aha moment…” a, “what do you think about this kind of idea…?” ours came, as we sat together one evening during the summer of 2012, and marveling at the amazing benefits of wheatgrass (what is that you ask? more about that later…), and regularly eating natural foods and juices. as runners, cyclists, and general all around athletes all of our lives, we knew that eating healthy foods, juicing (veg/fruit…not the other kind lol), and availing ourselves of wonder foods like wheatgrass made a huge difference in our lives – in how we felt and how we performed. the proof of that came over the summer months, while i underwent 5 rounds of chemotherapy as a result of my breast cancer diagnosis earlier in the spring. my hair fell out, and i ran bald, but run i did (if you saw a bald woman running on the bruce trail that spring and summer, good chance that was me!) my lab-result type proof came when the lab technicians called just before i was to have my last chemo treatment, with surgery already scheduled. due to my low blood cell count, i was told that if it wasn’t “up” by the morning of chemo #5, there would be no chemo. well, i said to gord, “that‘s not going to happen”. my surgery was booked and i was ready to move on already. so…several ounces of wheatgrass that evening combined with two additional shots of wheatgrass the next morning, blood work followed at noon and bam! lab report showed my blood was, and i quote, “perfect”. i finished chemo, had my surgery and cycled up the jolley cut (a big long steep hill) to each one of my 25 radiation treatments at “the j” (juravinski). it’s not too often we get to share such personal stories, but i learned first hand that all of that stuff we read about the benefits of whole nourishing foods, is indeed true. this epiphany, and our love of athletics, athletes and generally hardworking folks everywhere brought lifestream to life. we want to nourish you…body and soul! best, deanna lifestream nourishing beverages ltd facebooklifestream nourishing beverages ltd twitter copyright © 2016 lifestream nourishing beverages ltd theme by: theme horse powered by: wordpress back to top
